We believe in good stories, cooperation, and international creative teams. Our vision is to work with an international network model to produce a handful of high-level stories to screen yearly. The company is founded by two Ilkkas in the fall of 2022. They each have 20+ years of experience managing various media companies and productions in Finland and globally.

ILKKA HYNNINEN
CO-FOUNDER
I am a Finnish entrepreneur and an audiovisual executive who loves powerful stories and purpose-driven business. Stories to screen and ideas into action. I am a co-founder of Aito Media, one of the biggest Finnish production companies, which I ran for 20 years as a CEO. The company was a part of Content Media (UK), and French Lagardére Studios (bought by Mediawan). So far, I have produced more than 1700 hours of programs with global talents. ILKKA RAHKONEN
co-founder
For the past 30 years, I have worked in various management positions within the commercial and public media field, including SBS and YLE, a Finnish Broadcasting company. As a manager and entrepreneur, I have reformed public and private media companies and developed successful media concepts with various partners globally. Most recently, I have built the Finnish City Tampere into a significant International Media Hub.
KAARINA LEINONEN
HEAD OF DRAMA & DEVELOPMENT
I’m a Finnish writer whose work spans film, television and theatre. I’ve been writing for twenty years for mainstream tv-shows, musicals and experimental short films and I’m happy to bring my knowledge to ICS Nordic’s team now. My creative work is marked by a strong voice and a versatile approach to storytelling across stage and screen. I’m excited to write new compelling stories and support ICS Nordic writers and network in developing stories.
